Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Sea Waves Store. We understand that office productivity depends on the right equipment. Our policy is designed to comply with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection while ensuring the integrity of our technical products.

1. Return Period

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, items must be in original, unopened, and resalable condition with all factory seals intact.

2. Category-Specific Conditions

To protect our customers and maintain product quality, the following rules apply:

  • Printers & Office Equipment: Returns are only accepted if the box is unopened. Once the factory seal is broken, the item cannot be returned unless it is found to be "Dead on Arrival" (DOA) or has a manufacturing defect.
  • Consumables (Ink, Toner, Ribbons): These items are non-returnable once the vacuum seal or box is opened, as they cannot be resold.
  • Stationery: Must be in original packaging. Bulk packs must be complete (no missing units).
  • Computers & Accessories: Must include all original cables, manuals, and software media. Any unit that has been registered or had its operating system activated cannot be returned.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened ink cartridges or toner.
  • Software licenses or activated digital products.
  • Items damaged due to power surges or improper installation by the user.

4. Defective or Damaged Items (Warranty)

If you receive a defective unit:

  1. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
  2. For Printers and Computers, we may refer you to the official Manufacturer’s Service Center in the UAE for a technical report to confirm the defect.
  3. Confirmed defective items will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost to you.

5. The Return Process

  • Step 1: Email info@seawaves-uae.com with your order number and photos of the item/packaging.
  • Step 2: Our team will verify the request.
  • Step 3: For bulky office equipment, we can arrange a pickup (charges may apply for non-defective returns). Small items can be brought to our location.

6. Refunds & Fees

  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 15–20% may apply for opened (but unused) hardware, subject to our inspection.
  • Refund Method: Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.
  • Shipping: Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
